Picking up words & thumb sucking

It’s really fun to see kids growth. They are there when you make a mistake to correct you. They are there to add lots of things to your happiness. They remind you everyday to come home. There are so many things i watch with Mitran. This dude is awesome. He learnt new words these days. So, he will sometimes ask me to pickup.

Another interesting thing. He taught me a great lesson. He has this thumb sucking habit. But interestingly, he will not do it in front of me. He will the sweetest guy to say good night and sweet dreams around 9:30PM everyday. Finally, i realized that it’s because he wanted to use his thumb. This really shocked me about things i used to pick up myself when i was young and these days too. When someone really like something and if you didn’t convince them about it, they may not stop doing it. It’s a very classic problem. I still have no clue about how i can solve it.

astala vista

oh boy ! my son went to india for a long vacation of 90 days. i regret that gap when i saw him back here in US. he is such an amazing guy where he is learning so fast and making the house so charismatic. it’s hard to accept when you don’t have kids and people say that kids will make huge impact in your life.

I was watching a tamil movie “pirivom santhippom” and a doctor in that movie explained about why seperate family is not good if you don’t have kids. Also, he explained about Indian system where parents force newly married to think about kids if they are staying alone. it’s interesting.

mitran is growing healthy and fast. he can get a sense of what things are.

Bright shiny eyes

man, these kids grow fast. he has all kinds of problems and all of a sudden i see him more normal this morning in the rocker. he is like hitler, raising his hands and salute me all the time. he is pretty cool. nice little hands, to stay on my sweater. i keep worrying not to get him into the habit of sleeping on top of someone. so, i guess i balanced it with soothing and getting used to new atmosphere.

good feelings and only good memories with him.

get set ready

we bought the crib, armoire and other things for Mitran from ToysRUs. We hope to see him cribbing around our new home soon.
